Summary
The Trobriand Islanders are indigenous people living on four islands in the northeastern part of Papua New Guinea in Milne Bay Province: Kiriwina, Kaileuna, Kitava, and Vakuta. There are 56 documents in this collection with two time foci, ca. 1915 when the islands, especially Kiriwina, were studied by Bronislaw Malinowski and ca. 1970-1990 when Kiriwina was studied by Annette Weiner. Data on the other islands and works by other authors are also included
